All items purchased from Refrigerant Gas come with a 12-month warranty from the delivery date.
Warranty Terms
This warranty covers defects in materials and workmanship that affect the functionality or integrity of refrigerants and equipment. Coverage begins on the date of delivery as confirmed by our shipping partners. Proof of purchase is required for all warranty claims. Normal wear and tear, improper handling or storage, misuse, or modifications are not covered.
Note: If your order includes pre-owned items, the same 12-month coverage applies unless otherwise specified on the product page.
Replacement Process
If you are entitled to a replacement, Refrigerant Gas will provide an identical product or one of similar value and quality. If neither is available, we may provide a refund or repair the product within a reasonable time. Refund and repair rights apply to the replacement product in the same way as the original product.
Defects in Materials and Workmanship
Covered Defects
- Manufacturing flaws that compromise structural integrity
- Broken or damaged components present at time of delivery
- Incomplete or missing parts as originally supplied
- Abnormal color fading or discoloration beyond normal aging
- Material deterioration faster than reasonably expected
- Packaging damage that impacts product value or function
- Authentication or certification errors where applicable
Not Covered
- Normal wear and tear from use
- Improper storage, handling, or installation
- Environmental damage such as sunlight exposure or humidity
- Accidents, drops, or impacts after delivery
- Modifications or alterations made by the customer
- Minor cosmetic imperfections not affecting functionality
- Expected age-related finish or patina changes
Standard Coverage
All purchases from Refrigerant Gas include our standard 12-month warranty covering defects as described above.
Product-Specific Warranties
- Manufacturer Warranties: Some items may include the original manufacturer's warranty in addition to Refrigerant Gas coverage. Details appear on the product page when applicable.
- Extended Protection Plans: Optional extended plans may be available for certain high-value items at checkout.
Replacement & Repair Timeline
- We'll first attempt to replace your item with an identical product within 14 business days of claim approval.
- If an identical replacement is unavailable, within 3 business days we'll offer:
- A similar product of equal or greater value with your approval, or
- A full refund to your original payment method, or
- Repair service when applicable with an estimated completion date.
- For repairs, we aim to complete the process within 30 calendar days. If repair cannot be completed in that time, we'll provide a replacement or full refund.
How to Make a Warranty Claim
- Contact us with your order number, product name, and a brief description of the defect.
- Provide clear photos or videos of the issue and the serial or model number if applicable.
- We'll review your claim and send a Return Authorization (RA) number and instructions if a return is required.
- After inspection, we'll proceed with replacement, repair, or refund per this policy.
