R-422B is an HFC blend formulated to closely match the operating characteristics of R-22 in air-conditioning and medium-temperature refrigeration applications. It is commonly used in properly converted systems as a replacement where R-22 is being phased out.
Note: R-422B has a slightly lower capacity than R-22. Systems may experience slightly longer run times compared to original R-22 operation. All retrofit, charging, and optimization work should be performed by qualified and certified HVAC professionals following manufacturer and industry guidelines.
